A classical example of what the customer should find in a traditional Irish Pub.
The exterior is bright and inviting with a well maintained shop front enhanced by original signage and well tended flower boxes for extra life and colour. Although the windows are dressed with Victorian stained glass screens enough is left to view the old world charm that exudes from within.
Inside the pub is testament to all that is unique in an Irish pub. It is dimly lit with a large open fire and full of nooks and crannys where intimate conversations may be held in private. Indeed “Guinness and Co” recognised this special atmosphere when choosing Cunninghams as their location for their “Christmas 2005″ poster campaign.
As one reporter summed it up “Cunningham’s is the type of place where you go to meet family and friends when you return to the old sod for your Christmas Holidays“. Indeed our greatest accolade to date has to be our exclusive award for “Local Bar of the year” at The Licensing World Bar Awards.
